We invite voices that explore identity, contradiction, and becoming, especially from Bi+ people of color and those navigating beyond rigid categories. Pieces do not need to be aspirational or perfect, they just need to be real. We know life is complicated and layered, and our goal is to signal that sometimes the road to joy is complicated and messy. You do not need to be Bi+, queer, or POC to contribute.

Note: Pieces can explore any topic: religion, race, sexuality, class, aging, disability, origin stories, relationships, work, or culture, as long as they connect to themes of fragmentation, wholeness, reconciliation, or self-embrace.

AI-assisted pieces are welcome, but your authentic voice should remain at the center.

When did you first realize you didn’t fit one category or you were more than one thing?

What binaries do you exist between or on the edge of? What’s it like existing there? What are the stakes? What are the gains?

What part of yourself have you had to reclaim?

What identities, perspectives, or experiences do you have that challenge the status quo?

What does “embracing all of me” mean to you? What reality or truth are you holding or still learning to embrace?

Selected pieces will be edited lightly for clarity and flow

Not all submissions will be published

Response time: (2-3 weeks)

Your piece will be placed on our Stories page

While we are not offering compensation at this time, your piece will be featured and archived on Embracing All of Me and become part of a growing body of work centered on visibility, expression, and multiplicity. Contributors may also be considered for future collaborations or features.
